The quail garden has been occupied for about 3 months now. I have a flock of nine birds and as you can see from the pictures below a very large cucumber plant. Originally, I planted a cucumber plant in each of the four paddocks but only one survived being trampled by the quail. That one seems to have compensated though.





I am jealous. My cucumbers are still skinny and only about an inch long.
Successful. And providing extra shade.
